Some farmers are pushing that grass fed beef and natural buffalo are healthier and worth the extra money. Making people feel better about paying more helps a lot.
That said, there were many times in my childhood I griped there was too much oatmeal in the meatloaf. What my parents hid from us kids was that 50% oatmeal meatloaf meant we had meatloaf -- sometimes money is tight, no matter what the rest of the economy is doing.
I have been reading a lot about this. While it sounds reasonable what about the safe guards. We.just had a big recall of.beef from Argentina. There are antibiotics and other things they use that we dont use. I still worry about our farmers. Will the labeling be a requirement? Hope so. What about the egg recall from salmonella recently. All this sounds more nefarious than what os being told. In Trumps own words je talks about beef products
What other mystery meat are we being subjected to? Already there is info oit there about the pink slime and other stuff being used in our beef. Not to mention the talk of lan grown beef. The more I find out the less I trust in what is being done and what they call food. I am a chicken enthusiast and have 30 chickens. I raise my own eggs.
